CNAs in your District

I am curious as to if any of your districts utilize CNAs to help offset the nursing tasks? I know that school nurses are in high demand but can a Certified Nursing Assistant play a role in our schools?

Thanks.

We have been using CNA's in our buildings for several years with oversite of an RN. They are able to do typically everything that a nurse would do for us and they work closely with our RN"s. We have 5 registered nurses and 2 CNA's acorss the distrit. They are an amazing asset on a regular day but given what COVID has brought to our schools I don't know what we would do without them. They do all of our contact tracing, issue quarantine and isolation orders for staff and students, mange our COVID testing program and still do everything they have always done.
